Every year when fall rolls around, one of my favorite things to do is head to a farm to pick out pumpkins, mums, apples…all the things that make my heart happy. While you can pick these up at your local grocery store, there’s just something about taking that drive out of town and making an experience of it. So, if you looking for that true fall experience, here are a few places around Dayton that fit the bill.

Open daily 11 am to 6 pm, they offer Cowvin’s Corn Maze, pick-your-own-pumpkins, Haunted Wagon Rides (Fri – Sat 7:30 – 10 pm), ice cream, petting zoo, Udders & Putters, driving range, and more! *Be sure to check out their brand new dairy store!

Open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm (and Sunday 11 am to 5 pm), Peifer provides, apples, baked goods, local honey, Ohio maple syrup, fresh pressed apple cider, gift shop, and pumpkins. While you can get apples at any time, you can only pick your own on the weekends.

Open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm, this local family owned business has pumpkins, apple cider, hayrides, kettle corn, and fresh apples! Come and Enjoy!

The market is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, with hayrides offered on the weekends 11 am to 5 pm. They also have animals, pumpkins, straw bales, mums, apples, an on-site bakery, and weekend face painting.
